A beautiful aquacultured Derasa featuring a warm bronze-brown mantle with subtle green coloration through the center and a striking electric blue rim. At approximately 2", this is a smaller captive-cultured specimen with plenty of room to grow into an impressive showpiece.
WYSIWYG – you will receive the exact clam pictured.
A Note About Clam Color & Photography
All of our clam photos are taken under Kessil AP9X lighting with white spectrum present to provide a clear and accurate representation of each specimen.
Tridacna clams are highly reflective and iridescent, so their appearance can change significantly depending on lighting spectrum and viewing angle. Clams viewed from above can look noticeably different than when viewed through the front glass of an aquarium.
Please keep in mind that aquariums illuminated primarily with blue light and little or no white spectrum may not reproduce the same colors shown in our photographs.
WYSIWYG means you will receive the exact clam pictured, but its appearance in your aquarium will depend on your lighting and viewing angle.
