A unique hand-picked Maxima featuring a deep, nearly black mantle covered in hundreds of tiny gold and cream speckles. The dense spotting creates an incredible galaxy-like appearance that looks completely different from the traditionally patterned Maximas in this collection.

Aquacultured by ORA. WYSIWYG – you will receive the exact clam pictured (1.5"-2").

All of our clam photos are taken under Kessil AP9X lighting with white spectrum present to provide a clear and accurate representation of each specimen.

Tridacna clams are highly reflective and iridescent, so their appearance can change significantly depending on lighting spectrum and viewing angle. Clams viewed from above can look noticeably different than when viewed through the front glass of an aquarium.

Please keep in mind that aquariums illuminated primarily with blue light and little or no white spectrum may not reproduce the same colors shown in our photographs.

WYSIWYG means you will receive the exact clam pictured, but its appearance in your aquarium will depend on your lighting and viewing angle.
