Clam Source
Wild
Two exceptional wild-collected Noae clams from Ningaloo, Western Australia, measuring approximately 2.5–3" each. Both specimens display beautiful teardrop markings, with one featuring intricate cream-colored patterning and the other displaying particularly striking turquoise-blue teardrops and mantle accents.
Both clams have been conditioned and established at Golden State Corals for approximately one month and are thriving in our system.
WYSIWYG – you will receive both exact clams pictured.
A Note About Clam Color & Photography
All of our clam photos are taken under Kessil AP9X lighting with white spectrum present to provide a clear and accurate representation of each specimen.
Tridacna clams are highly reflective and iridescent, so their appearance can change significantly depending on lighting spectrum and viewing angle. Clams viewed from above can look noticeably different than when viewed through the front glass of an aquarium.
Please keep in mind that aquariums illuminated primarily with blue light and little or no white spectrum may not reproduce the same colors shown in our photographs.
WYSIWYG means you will receive the exact clam pictured, but its appearance in your aquarium will depend on your lighting and viewing angle.
