A unique hand-picked Maxima featuring warm gold and bronze coloration covered in intricate cream and dark lace-like patterning. The unusually detailed mantle pattern gives this clam a ton of character and makes it stand out from more traditional Gold Maximas.

Aquacultured by ORA. WYSIWYG – you will receive the exact clam pictured (1.5"-2").

All of our clam photos are taken under Kessil AP9X lighting with white spectrum present to provide a clear and accurate representation of each specimen.

Tridacna clams are highly reflective and iridescent, so their appearance can change significantly depending on lighting spectrum and viewing angle. Clams viewed from above can look noticeably different than when viewed through the front glass of an aquarium.

Please keep in mind that aquariums illuminated primarily with blue light and little or no white spectrum may not reproduce the same colors shown in our photographs.

WYSIWYG means you will receive the exact clam pictured, but its appearance in your aquarium will depend on your lighting and viewing angle.
